Celebrity
Its wonderfully Real though with a big sprinkle of AI unfortunately
At the start seeing the Ai made me lose interest, however I held on. And i am so glad i did as the story progressively got so much better that now i am waiting with a bated breath for the next episode. And you guys, i really sincerely thought that at one time that the male leads were AI, so much so that i researched on them and only when i realised that they were real did i continue. Such beautiful humans existing on this planet is quite demoralising to me as a female tbh.
And on top of that - the yearning , ugh my heart, the pain feels so good , i must be a masochist. Anyway love this story and the portrayal of each character by the actors. Good job everyone except the Ai whatever. I wish Ai would stop being used , although i dont think it will- very unfortunate. Someone should be regulating the use of AI, its really bad for the environment and our social structure if considered long term.

Love it!!!
Loving Echo of a Letter so much!!Great storyline, I even sought out the novel to read after starting this series.
And now I want to know where have Fang Yusong & Liu Hanlin been hiding? I’m so excited to have discovered them. Both actors are stunning and unquie in their own way, they also compliment each other very well, in both appearance and chemistry. I can’t imagine anyone else more suited for the roles of Chen Wan & Zhao Sheng. Great casting! There are so many small details, especially through body language, that I love about each of these unique characters. And the main leads do a great job portraying the emotional complexities of the two men. They really allow us to enjoy the slow burn romance between the two, with all the juicy little details that make it worth it. You just can’t help getting happy, nervous and excited for each character.
I just finished episode 8 and can’t wait for more. It’s nice when they stick to the original story, but I easily could have enjoyed them expanding this story out into even more. I also really love the ending credits to each episode with beautiful music and flashes of their pictures together.
I’ll definitely be on the look out for more dramas with Fang Yusong & Liu Hanlin as main leads. I would happily watch anything with these two actors as individuals or as another pairing. Great job guys!
The supporting cast also stood out. When you find yourself invested in the other roles, wanting to see and know more, you can tell it’s a great drama.
I’ve enjoyed rewatching all the episodes out so far and will be adding this drama to my favorites list. I understand some viewers’ opinions on the AI usage, but honestly I’m enjoying it so much just as it is and I think they have done a great job combining the two. I would definitely watch another series similarly made.

Lip syncing
If you going to drop the drama in Cantonese then get the actors speak the language. Nothing sucks than watching people’s lips not saying what you’re seeing. This would have been so much better if it had been kept in the original language (Chinese). Anyways, my ADHD can’t allow me to watch things that don’t align. Was this review helpful to you?
Echo of a letter
Was this review helpful to you?
