Two high school students who were once childhood friends have grown distant over the years: the quiet and introverted Hikaru Fukada, and the popular Eita Tsukioka. In truth, Eita has feelings for Hikaru, but to hide them, he has deliberately acted cold toward him. Hikaru misunderstands Eita’s behavior and becomes convinced that Eita hates him, leaving the two stuck in an awkward relationship.
