Your Summer, My Storm Episode 1

High school senior Natsuki is suddenly dumped by his classmate and girlfriend, Sakura, just before summer vacation begins. Still reeling from the breakup, Natsuki returns home to find his mother, Towako, in the middle of hosting one of her cooking classes. Though he's comforted by her students and friends, Kaoru and Mayumi, things take an awkward turn when his older sister, Rio, comes home with her boyfriend, Sota. The moment Natsuki sees Sota, he's completely thrown off. Sota is none other than the guy who happened to witness him crying in a convenience store earlier that day after being dumped. To make matters worse, everyone in the family and even the cooking class soon learns about the embarrassing incident, leaving Natsuki pouting and dismissing Sota as "an insufferable jerk." That night, Natsuki's family discovers the mock exam results he had secretly hidden away. The verdict is a shocking E rating, indicating a very low chance of getting into his desired university. His father, Goro, gives him an ultimatum: if his next mock exam is another E, he should give up on taking the university entrance exams altogether.
