Episode Title: I Have a Feeling I'm about to Be Properly Rejected
High school senior Natsuki somehow manages to get through his mock exam, only to notice a message from his private tutor, Sota, saying, “I want to talk to you properly.” Expecting that he is about to be “properly rejected,” Natsuki becomes dejected. Sota is completely shaken after Natsuki confessed his feelings to him. Although he sent the message, he has no idea what he should do. Then, Natsuki’s older sister Rio calls him out to meet her. She and Natsuki usually do nothing but fight, but she deeply cares about her younger brother. What does Rio have to tell Sota...!?
Meanwhile, Natsuki’s mother, Towako, confronts her husband, Goro, who seems to be hiding something, and their confrontation escalates into a marital quarrel. It seems dark clouds are looming over the usually cheerful Takemiya family...? Eventually, the truth behind the “secret” Goro had been hiding is revealed!? And then, a new message from Sota arrives for Natsuki.

Their communication and the way they talked things through was absolutely spot on.Natsuki told Sota that what he said when he confessed his feelings was true. Meanwhile, Sota explained that when he apologised back then, it wasn’t because he was rejecting Natsuki. He simply didn’t know what to say and was completely shocked in that moment.What I love most about this drama is how realistic it feels. Instead of Sota suddenly accepting Natsuki’s love, he was honest and admitted that he likes Natsuki too, but he isn’t sure what kind of love it is. Is it brotherly love? Friendship? Or something more?That is why he wants to spend more time with Natsuki and get to know him better before defining those feelings. And honestly, I think that makes their relationship even more beautiful. Love doesn’t always come with an immediate answer, and sometimes you need time to understand what your heart is really feeling.This felt so powerful, genuine and different from the usual romance storyline. I’m really glad they chose to portray their feelings this way.Now I absolutely cannot wait for their first date. I have a feeling it’s going to be everything.
