Ru Xi

It tells the story of actor Zhang Zhun, who auditions for the film "Into the Role" in an effort to overcome a career slump. During the process, he becomes involved with Zhen Xin, a director who achieved fame at a young age. In the film, the two portray a doctor and a patient engaged in a struggle of desire and emotional manipulation. Outside the film, however, Zhen Xin’s increasingly intrusive behavior causes their relationship to spiral out of control. As performance and reality become intertwined, they find it increasingly difficult to distinguish genuine feelings from fiction.
