i am absolutely enjoying this series with its mind bending twists and turns around the two leads and their infatuation and attachment. the chemistry is off the charts! topping it off at every juncture is the wonderful music accompaniment. ..even the smallest musical phrases have meaning. one of my favorite composers is erik satie (think sexy impressionists like debussy). in "Deep In", ep #3 uses satie's gnossienne #3 at 11:00 in. it's mysterious sounding (the dr is talking about gao zhun's mental issues). in ep #5 at 23:26 mark, we hear satie's gnossienne #1 on cello! hearing it on cello is a treat because we usually hear the piano version. the musician uses slides on some of the 1/16 notes rather than grace notes, making the sound even more sultry. also, he plays it at a lower octave. yum! in ep #6 we hear satie's gnossienne #1 again at the 33:04 mark. totally jibes with the fire in the foreground of gao zhun because it's a really "hot" sound. you can hear all these compositions on YT. i love sharing my joy of music with yall.
