Thank you so much. Do you have plans or have you already translated the other novels in the 188 universe? Also I love your translations and just finished Don’t Be and was wondering if you would share the overall link to your drive so I could browse your entire collection? Do you have a page I can support you on as well for your hard work? I know a lot use buy me a coffee

Thank you a million 😘

the 23 chapter one which is the one posted here, is the censored, edited version released by iQiyi, where they abbreviated all of the nc scenes and the extras. the 123 chapter version is the original uncensored version, with all of the nc scenes and extras included.

the iqiyi version, is a bit shorter and has a wayyy better translation, but you would be sacrificing a lot of the character development and relationship importance tied to the nc scenes.

the uncensored version includes everything from the original story, but the translation i read (https://danmeinovel.com/manga/my-beloved-fool/, epub : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iVfU324jJMl--wGTdvwOGotOmvyC2vpC/view) was not as good. if you are fine with graphic nc scenes and a less edited translation, this version is better to get the full story.

i initially read the iqiyi version and felt like i didn't get as good of an understanding on liyu's character, since a lot of his feelings towards suiying comes out in the sex scenes that the iqiyi version cuts. the uncensored one makes liyu more sympathetic because we actually get to see how he becomes obsessed with suiying and how it influences his decisions, rather than having to constantly guess about whether he likes him for real or not.

First of all, thank you so much for sharing the link!

I’m halfway through translating the book into my language, and I’m really enjoying it so far.

I’d like to ask whether any episodes were left out due to the condensation, or if the book is complete.

Thank you very much in advance for your help! I truly appreciate it.
