My Daughter Isn't a Bully (2026)

"If your own child were the bully, how would you love them?" Kanako is living a happy, ordinary life when she receives a shocking phone call informing her that her daughter, Akagi Mana, has been bullying another student. Mother and daughter visit the victim's family to apologize, but the girl, Koharu, continues to refuse to attend school. Before long, Mana's name is exposed across social media as the alleged perpetrator, and the accusations spread rapidly online. "My child would never do something like that..." Kanako, who was herself bullied in the past, is devastated by the reality of becoming the parent of an alleged bully. As more details come to light during a parents' meeting, the truth proves to be far more complicated than anyone imagined. Faced with a situation that offers no easy answers, Kanako and her family must decide what it truly means to stand by their child, and what the right path forward really is.
