Suffering from a serious illness, Fumika boards a taxi with her two-year-old daughter, Ritsu, with nowhere else to go. Their journey leads them to a quiet lakeside village surrounded by lush trees, gentle breezes, and warm sunlight. There, Fumika meets Mitsuyo, a woman who once experienced the heartbreaking loss of her own young daughter. Fumika and Ritsu decide to spend just one night at the guesthouse run by Mitsuyo. Over the course of that single night, the lives of these three women become unexpectedly intertwined, setting them on a path toward an uncertain future.
