When It Rains, It Pours Season 2: Mellow Rain (2026)

A mistakenly sent email led Hagiwara Kazuaki and Nakarai Sei to confide in each other about their "sexual concerns." After impulsively sleeping together, the two went through breakups with their respective partners before finally confirming their feelings for one another. Four months have passed since then. Kazuaki returns from his temporary assignment in Osaka and visits Sei at his new apartment, where he has begun living on his own. At last, the two come together as a couple. Meals shared at the same table, casual conversations—their everyday life is precious, yet somehow marked by moments when they fail to connect.
