The Story of a Certain Man (2026)

The story is set in the Kansai region and follows the extraordinary life of a man who races through the turbulent television industry from the late 1980s through the 2000s. He rises from a "legendary assistant director" who drives around in a Porsche to become the president of a production company. Eventually, however, he finds himself more than 100 million yen in debt and nearly killed by the yakuza, before ultimately losing everything and being cast out onto the streets, where he becomes homeless.
