Yugo has an unusual ability to hear the sounds that other people are hearing, documenting them in a collection of “Sound Notebooks.” Haunted by a difficult childhood and afraid of drawing attention to himself, he keeps his feelings hidden both at home and at school, even when his classmate Otogi Riho becomes the target of bullying. One day, Yugo discovers Riho creating Foley, the art of producing sound effects for films, inside an abandoned house. Fascinated by her dream of becoming a Foley artist, he joins her in experimenting with sounds over summer vacation. Through their shared creativity, the two isolated teenagers gradually open up to each other and begin to find a place where they feel they belong. But when school resumes, they must once again confront the difficult reality they had briefly escaped. (Source: Japanese = nakachikapictures.com || Translation/Edit = kisskh) Edit Translation
