My Dangerous Cat Roommate (2026)

On campus, the century-old cat spirit Kang Seo Jun is on the verge of transforming back into a beast during a stormy night, when the accidental touch from the passing athlete Yun Hae Sol forms an emotional comfort pact. Craving contact, Kang disguises himself as a school senior and moves into the athlete dorm. Claiming to suffer from skin hunger syndrome, he demands daily hugs in exchange for tutoring Yun. Their bond deepens through shared experiences, such as standing up against bullies in the library and rescuing each other in the swimming pool. Even after knowing that he is not human, Yun remains by his side, confessing his love. However, their intense bond triggers a backlash curse, draining Yun’s life force during their intimate moments, and Yun nearly dissolves in water during a swimming final. To save his beloved, Kang splits his spirit core and fuses half into Yun’s heart—risking becoming relegated to being an ordinary cat. After the dramatic ritual, Kang loses his powers, and the couple embrace a simple, happy life together. (Source: iQIYI) Edit Translation
