The Sea Unseen (2025)

Yoshino visits Ueda, a historic city surrounded by mountains. Feeling overwhelmed by her daily life in Tokyo, she has come to the city to take a "break" at Sai no Tsuno, a unique local establishment that serves as a guesthouse, theater, and café all at once. Long ago, Ueda was covered by a vast, deep sea. As Yoshino wanders through the city, where an eight-meter-long whale fossil was discovered several years earlier, she finds herself caught up in a series of mysterious events. As time becomes increasingly ambiguous, blurring the boundaries between reality and dreams, past and future, Yoshino's "break" begins to unfold in ways she could never have imagined...
