A thousand years ago, Si Yan, the Nine-Tailed Fox God of Qingqiu, led his forces against the Demon Lord's invasion of the Heavenly Court. During the battle, his beloved Fu Ying sacrificed herself to save him. Devastated by her death, Si Yan gave her his spirit pearl to ensure her reincarnation and vowed to find her again. However, after helping seal the Demon Lord, he was punished by the Heavenly Dao for the bloodshed he had caused and banished to the mortal world. A thousand years later, university student Su Zhen Yue, who survived a childhood car accident that mysteriously claimed her parents' lives, continues searching for the truth with a wishing coin given to her by the Nine-Tailed Fox God who saved her. Her search leads her to Si Yan, the CEO of Shengshi Group, who bears a striking resemblance to her mysterious savior. Unbeknownst to her, Si Yan is also searching for someone from his past—the reincarnation of his lost love, Fu Ying. (Source: iQIYI; edited by kisskh) Edit Translation
