The Story
For ten years, Namgung Ho and Lee Mi Do have built a life together, transforming their once-passionate romance into a quiet bond of familiarity and trust.
Namgung Ho sees marriage as their natural next step, but Lee Mi Do is struggling with her career and unexpectedly develops feelings for another man.
Instead of asking her to suppress those feelings, Namgung Ho makes a shocking choice: he gives Lee Mi Do one month to explore them and date the other man.
Meanwhile, Namgung Ho enters into a contract relationship with Park Su A, who has secretly loved him for years. What begins as an unusual arrangement soon entangles four people in a painful web of love, jealousy, temptation, and unresolved feelings.

Ahn Eun-jin on why she took the role: "It is a story that people can relate to regardless of generation or era, dealing not with a beautiful fairy-tale-like plot but with realistic love and growth." On Mi Do's inner conflict she said, "Namgung Ho is Lee Mi Do's other half. She loves him so much that nothing could ever tear them apart, but deep inside, she feels inadequate. She has always wanted to make films well, but she fails time and time again." Seo Kangjun on Namgung Ho: "Whether it's going to work, saving money, or putting up with a certain amount of the absurdities of reality, he does all of it for his future with Lee Mi-do." The Characters
Namgung Ho (Seo Kang Jun) — Sociable, witty, and effortlessly charming, he is the kind of person people naturally gravitate toward. After ten years of loving Mi-do, he has never once questioned the depth of their bond. Yet, his decision to let her go, temporarily and willingly, reveals a quieter side of love: one that knows when to hold on, and when to step back. It is a choice that leaves us wondering what love truly means when the person you cherish needs the freedom to find herself.
Lee Mi Do (Ahn Eun-jin) — Once a promising film director, she has watched her confidence take one blow after another. She genuinely loves Ho, but somewhere along the way, that love became tangled with familiarity, fear, and uncertainty. She can no longer tell whether she is staying because she truly wants to, or because leaving feels almost impossible after ten years together. That blurred line between love and attachment lies at the heart of the drama.
Han Tae Seung (Lee Joo Ahn) — A driven attorney who has spent most of his adult life putting his career above everything else. Meeting Lee Mi Do begins to challenge that carefully ordered life in ways he never expected. And as their one-month arrangement unfolds, his growing jealousy toward Namgung Ho forces him to confront feelings he has no idea how to control, or even fully understand.
Park Su A (Jo Aram) — Reserved, slightly guarded, and carrying a secret she has never found the courage to say aloud. She fell for Namgung Ho as a teenager and has quietly buried those feelings ever since. A contract relationship was supposed to be simple, until being close to him again forces her to confront the feelings she spent years trying to forget.
