Kim Sae Ron's posthumous film 'Everyday, We' confirmed to premiere in 2026
Ahn Bo Hyun and Jung Eun Chae are confirmed to be the main leads of the new season of Flex X Cop.
On December 3, SBS announced that Ahn Bo Hyun and Jung Eun Chae will be the main leads of Flex X Cop Season 2. It was also revealed that the upcoming second season will premiere next year, and director Kim Jae Hong (Beyond the Bar, Revenant, and Through the Darkness) and writer Kim Ba Da (My Name, Life Risking Romance, and The Huntresses) will team up to create the series.
The first season of Flex X Cop revealed the happenings in Jin Yi Soo's life, a third-generation conglomerate heir who becomes a detective in the violent crimes department after getting entangled in a case. He then decides to become a true detective and use his wealth and status to solve cases that also involve privileged people like him. The K-drama depicted its story from the 2015 Russian series Silver Spoon. The second season will feature Jin Yi Soo as he confronts a fresh set of challenges.
The production team of the second season shared, "We are preparing thoroughly to give viewers even more excitement and thrill in the second season, repaying them for the love and support shown during the first season. Please anticipate the upcoming investigations Jin Yi Soo will face alongside the Violent Crimes Unit 1."
Ahn Bo Hyun will reprise his role as Jin Yi Soo, the happy-go-lucky conglomerate turned police and member of Violent Crimes Unit 1.
Jung Eun Chae will portray the role of Joo Hye Ra. She will take over as the new team leader of Violent Crimes Unit 1, replacing Lee Gang Hyeon, while she is away training in Los Angeles. Joo Hye Ra is a former member of the National Police Agency’s counter-terrorism team who chose to join the Violent Crimes Unit. She also has a past connection with Jin Yi Soo. She was the "devil instructor" during his time at the police academy.
