Flex X Cop Season 2 has unveiled a highlight teaser ahead of its premiere.
Flex X Cop Season 2 follows Jin Yi Soo (Ahn Bo Hyun), who uses wealth and connections like cheat codes, and veteran detective Joo Hye Ra (Jung Eun Chae) as they team up to take down increasingly cunning criminals.
The teaser opens with Jin Yi Soo (Ahn Bo Hyun), the chaebol-turned-detective, returning in flamboyance. Declaring, "I've tried everything and had all the fun there is, but this is my true calling," Jin Yi Soo brings about an upgraded version of his signature "money-backed investigations," making use of every resource from a private jet and supercars to real estate transactions, once again bringing his charm and playful charisma.
The vibe takes a turn with the arrival of new team leader Joo Hye Ra (Jung Eun Chae), a former police academy instructor who once taught Jin Yi Soo during his time at the academy. Greeting him with, "You lunatic, I told you not to cause any trouble, didn't I?" she effortlessly puts Jin Yi Soo in his place. Even the third-generation chaebol heir finds himself unable to throw his weight around in front of Joo Hye Ra, hinting at an intriguing new dynamic between the two.
Although the two initially clash at every turn, they gradually build trust as they solve a series of cases together. A scene shows Joo Hye Ra, impressed by Jin Yi Soo's exceptional problem-solving skills, flashing a bright smile and saying, "I'll admit it. You really are a cheat code." The teaser also showcases Jin Yi Soo's growth into a dependable partner as he tells her, "Just use me, Team Leader Joo. I'll do whatever it takes."
The video also teases the arrival of new villains. The mysterious chaebol Yoo Sung Won (Yoo Seung Ho), whom Joo Hye Ra singles out by saying, "There's someone we have to catch," leaves a powerful impression. A glimpse of him warmly smiling in front of Jin Yi Soo before instantly switching to a cold, emotionless expression fuels curiosity about his true identity.
The highlight also offers a glimpse of Violent Crimes Unit 1 as they find themselves pushed to the brink by increasingly sophisticated crimes. Tension mounts when Yoo Sung Won taunts them, asking, "Do you really think you can catch me?" Undeterred, the team fires back with confidence: "There's no such thing as the perfect crime." Jin Yi Soo also teases an even bigger showing this season, declaring, "Just watch how far I can go."
