Netflix unveils stills of foreign sceneries from Can This Love Be Translated?.

Can This Love Be Translated? follows the story of multilingual interpreter Ju Ho Jin (Kim Seon Ho), who becomes the interpreter for global top star Cha Mu Hui (Go Youn Jung).

The K-drama is enriched with landscapes and vibes of not only Korea but also Japan, Canada, and Italy. Director Yoo Young Eun sought to delicately weave each country's colors and spaces into the characters' narratives, giving viewers a feast of rich visuals.

The stills show the leads, Kim Seon Ho, Go Youn Jung, and Fukushi Sota, amidst the backdrop of breathtaking landscapes.

Director Yoo explained that since Japan is where Ho Jin and Mu Hui first meet, she focused on perspectives that follow the characters and on the surrounding space.

For Canada, director Yoo explained that exotic locations with sunsets, auroras, and lakesides were used as devices to heighten the emotional arc. Go Youn Jung said, "We filmed in great enjoyment, and I think the acting came out richer as well."

As for Italy, director Yoo added warm yellow lights and soft snow to the European winter scenery, creating a calm yet warm mood. Kim Seon Ho shared, "The atmosphere was consistently great. The director and Go Youn Jung really led the mood well, so I went along with it too."

Additionally, director Yoo Young Eun said, "For the locations in Korea, rather than large and glamorous spaces, I wanted to show places that are everyday settings yet beautiful. I think you will have fun spotting Seoul's iconic spots throughout the places where the characters live and walk."

Can This Love Be Translated? will be released on January 16, only on Netflix.
