'A Shop for Killers Season 2' teases fierce showdowns and stylish action in new stills
Netflix has unveiled new stills from its upcoming original series Our Sticky Love.
Our Sticky Love follows Go Eun Sae (Ha Young), a prosecutor suffering from amnesia, and Jang Tae Ha (Jung Hae In), a boxing coach, who end up living together due to an unexpected twist of fate.
Jung Hae In stars as Jang Tae Ha, a boxing coach who claims to be Go Eun Sae's boyfriend.
The newly released stills spark curiosity by showcasing two completely different sides of Jang Tae Ha. In one, he is seen at a boxing gym dressed casually, flashing a bright, carefree smile that exudes warmth and romance. In stark contrast, another image captures him with neatly styled hair, impeccably dressed in a sharp black suit, wearing a deep, intent gaze as he heads somewhere. The striking contrast between his innocent, easygoing demeanor and his serious, composed presence raises intriguing questions about his story.

Describing Jang Tae Ha as "the epitome of devoted romantic," Jung Hae In said, "He's someone who does everything he can to protect the person he loves, no matter the circumstances. He's admirable for that, but he also has an unexpectedly awkward and clumsy side that adds to his charm."
He continued, "I tried to naturally portray the differences in his emotions and attitude across different circumstances — from a 'hungry boxer' to the head of a [crime] organization. In particular, after he reunites with Go Eun Sae, I paid close attention to portraying in detail the process of him struggling desperately and experiencing conflict to protect Go Eun Sae."
Ha Young also plays a multifaceted character, Go Eun Sae.
The newly released stills show Go Eun Sae waking up in a rural hospital with no memory of who she is and her body still badly injured. Another image offers a glimpse of her life before losing her memory. Then known as Go Ji Won, she is an elite prosecutor who throws herself into her work without holding back. While chasing a violent crime syndicate in pursuit of a career-defining opportunity, she gets caught up in an unexpected accident. The stills leave one wondering what exactly happened to change the course of her life.

Discussing her character, Go Eun Sae, Ha Young shared, "Before losing her memory, Go Ji Won was someone who would stop at nothing to achieve what she wanted. But after she loses her memory, she is separated from the circumstances that had [defined and] surrounded her, allowing her to return to her true self. Watching her grow while receiving love from Jang Tae Ha and the people around her made me want to root for her, and I found her deeply endearing."
She added, "Even when she does things that might make people dislike her, she's such a lovable character that you simply can't bring yourself to hate her."
Heo Sung Tae plays Baek Sang Gil, the boss of the criminal organization Jang Tae Ha once belonged to.
Baek Sang Gil is a man who has thoroughly erased all traces of his criminal past and now lives under a fabricated identity. Believing he had successfully eliminated prosecutor Go Ji Won, who possessed information that could bring him down, Baek Sang Gil is shocked to learn one day that she is still alive. He then begins relentlessly tracking her down, setting the stage for a tense pursuit.

Returning as a formidable villain, Heo Sung Tae raised anticipation for his performance, saying, "Baek Sang Gil is a character whose very presence heightens the tension of the story."
He continued, "I gave a lot of thought to how to portray the contrast in Baek Sang Gil's demeanor between the outward appearance he shows in his social relationships and when he is his true self. I worked to ensure that he never loses his composed demeanor while expressing the core of his ruthless nature in a detached yet brutally chilling way."
Director Kim Jang Han expressed complete confidence in the cast, saying, "Jung Hae In was the perfect fit for Jang Tae Ha, a character who had to embody both a tough and sweet side, while also revealing an adorably awkward side at times. Whether it was romantic comedy or demanding action sequences, he excelled across the board."
He continued, "Ha Young's naturally expressive personality — she laughs easily and cries easily — allowed her to portray Go Eun Sae in such a lovable way, even though the character could easily have come across as unlikable. As for Baek Sang Gil, we needed an actor who could present him as a multidimensional character rather than simply emphasizing his villainous side. I think he was brought to life as a vivid character through actor Heo Sung Tae's rich expressiveness and ideas."
Our Sticky Love is coming August 7, only on Netflix.
