Netflix unveils new poster and teaser for Can This Love Be Translated?.
Can This Love Be Translated? follows the story of multilingual interpreter Ju Ho Jin (Kim Seon Ho), who becomes the interpreter for global top star Cha Mu Hui (Go Youn Jung).
The poster depicts Ju Ho Jin interpreting and Cha Mu Hui in an interview. Ju Ho Jin is a multilingual interpreter fluent in multiple languages — from English to Japanese to Italian — while Cha Mu Hui is a top star who became a top star almost overnight.
The teaser captures the story of Ju Ho Jin and Cha Mu Hui, who meet as an interpreter and a top star. In contrast to Ho Jin's calm demeanor, Mu Hui's unpredictable, free-spirited charm raises anticipation for their dynamics.
Then there is also Hiro (Fukushi Sota), who is filming together with Mu Hui, heightening curiosity about what role he will play between Ho Jin and Mu Hui. Ho Jin's line, "I don't understand her language very well," and the moment when he is unable to immediately interpret Hiro's confession hint that their relationships will be anything but smooth.
From scenes of the characters standing beneath the aurora to shots of ancient castles and expansive lakes, the beautiful landscapes of Italy, Canada, and Japan interspersed throughout the trailer further keeps the wait hard for the rich visual spectacle that Can This Love Be Translated? will offer.
Can This Love Be Translated? will be released on January 16, only on Netflix.
