Ha Jung Woo and Cha Jung Won to become husband and wife
New K-movie Typhoon has confirmed casting, including Koo Kyo Hwan, Han Ji Min, Oh Jung Se, Han Sun Hwa, Kim Eung Soo, Oh Min Ae, Kim Yo Han, and Choi Ji Su, and has begun filming.
Typhoon is a disaster-escape comedy that follows a married couple who have decided to divorce. After attending a relative's wedding in their hometown, they encounter a massive typhoon and try to escape the disaster.
The film is written and directed by Lee Jung Ho.

Koo Kyo Hwan will play Jin Mo, an ordinary office worker from a small provincial city who graduated from Seoul University and joined a major corporation but has remained a deputy manager for years.

Han Ji Min will play his wife Jae Yi, who was a talented employee recognized for her abilities at a publishing company. However, she is a bold and ambitious woman who dreams of becoming a YouTuber after leaving her job to balance childcare and work. When disaster strikes, she shows her resourcefulness by drawing on practical, everyday knowledge to work through the crisis.

Oh Jung Se will play the couple's friend, Sang Hyuk, a 119 emergency rescue worker who ends up trapped alongside them while attempting to rescue the isolated couple.

Han Sun Hwa will play Rose, the owner of a pension-style guesthouse, a stingy woman who refuses to offer discounts on accommodation yet dreams of finding love.

Han Sun Hwa reunites with Koo Kyo Hwan and Oh Jung Se following We Are All Trying Here.
Also bringing warmth to the story are Hyeon Deok (Kim Eung Soo) and Pil Ja (Oh Min Ae), a couple who have been partners for 48 years and travel around the country in a camper van. In addition, a couple about to get married, Dae Han (Kim Yo Han) and Cha Young (Choi Ji Su), add energy to the story when they encounter Jin Mo and Jae Yi amid the disaster.

Typhoon began filming in October and is scheduled to hit theaters next year.
