Ha Jung Woo and Cha Jung Won to become husband and wife
Final Interview has unveiled Kwak Dong Yeon's stills.
Final Interview follows job applicants who reach the final stage after surviving fierce competition. They are given only two hours. With only two hours on the clock, they must choose the one person who will secure the position through five rounds of open voting.
The atmosphere, which had promised fair competition, changes when mysterious envelopes of unknown origin are discovered. Each envelope, bearing a candidate's name, contains a revelation about them, and the applicants grow suspicious as they confront one another's secrets. The competition for success escalates into a psychological battle to determine who is telling the truth.
Cho Yi Hyun, Kim Jae Won, Shin Seung Ho, Kang You Seok, Kwak Dong Yeon, and Bae Gang Hee portray six applicants who have made it to the final interview.
Kwak Dong Yeon plays Jeon Yo Han, a man accustomed to being alone and keeping his distance from others. Because he sticks to his own standards and judgments, he creates a subtle sense of tension even in a friendly vibe. Initially, he regards the final interview's task — where the applicants' choices determine who gets hired — as something like a popularity contest. However, when the envelopes containing revelations appear, he assesses the situation more rationally than anyone else. After the envelopes open, his words and actions begin to subtly contradict one another, making the ensuing battle of revelation difficult to predict.

Kwak Dong Yeon explained how he prepared for the role, saying, "I've always been very interested in playing characters with personalities I haven't explored before, and I thought Jeon Yo Han was a role that would satisfy that desire to challenge myself. I wanted to portray someone who is academically gifted and exceptionally capable, but whose communication with others is just slightly off."
Director Kim Jung Hoon also praised Kwak Dong Yeon's performance. "Yo Han could easily have become a stereotypical eccentric, but actor Kwak Dong Yeon breathed a unique life into him," Kim said. "With his ability to move freely between on-beat and off-beat rhythms and his remarkable screen presence, he makes the character feel truly alive."
Final Interview will be released in theaters on November 4.
