The Netflix series The East Palace has confirmed its premiere date for July 17.
The East Palace tells the story of Gu Cheon (Nam Joo Hyuk), who has the ability to cross between the human world and the world of spirits, and Saeng Gang (Roh Yoon Seo), a court lady who harbors a secret. Summoned by the King (Cho Seung Woo), the two set out to uncover the cursed palace's secrets.
The K-drama is directed by Choi Jung Gyu (The Devil Judge), with the script penned by Kwon So Ra and Seo Jae Won.
The newly released poster depicts Gu Cheon standing in a dark pond, his body bound with ropes. The bundle of peach tree branches strapped to his back and the ominous red aura surrounding him create an unsettling sense of suspense. The text, "Beyond the boundaries of the Real World, Into the Spirit Realm," further stirs curiosity about the series' world.

Nam Joo Hyuk takes on the role of Gu Cheon, who travels between the real world and the spirit realm in pursuit of evil spirits. Roh Yoon Seo stars as Saeng Gang, a court lady capable of hearing the voices of spirits.
The East Palace will premiere exclusively on Netflix on July 17. Stay tuned!
