Ji Soo distances herself from brother's controversy, attorney issues statement
Azure Spring, starring Kang Sang Jun and Ye Ri, has confirmed its premiere for May 11.
Azure Spring is a healing youth drama that depicts the journey of growth of Seo Anna (Ye Ri), who has come to a standstill out of fear of the future, and Yoon Deok Hyun, who remains stuck in the past and cannot move forward, as they live as a haenyeo (female diver) and haenam (male diver), growing through one another.
Ye Ri and Kang Sang Jun take on the lead roles and are expected to delicately portray the time of youth that moves forward in its own way, even in the face of an unpredictable life.

The K-drama is set against the backdrop of the beautiful islands of Hallyeohaesang National Park in Tongyeong. The sea is not just for scenery, but is depicted as a space of challenge and growth that sets stagnant lives back into motion. Dishes made using a variety of ingredients from the Tongyeong sea will also be woven into the story, offering a unique visual appeal.
Kim Ye Rim takes on the role of Seo Anna, once a national athlete whose career was cut short by injury. After losing her dream, she heads to her mother's hometown, where meeting Deok Hyun opens the door to a new path in life.
Kang Sang Jun plays Deok Hyun, a former special forces soldier who now leads a quiet life in a coastal village, keeping his distance from others as he lives under the shadow of a dark rumor branding him a "murderer".
Azure Spring premieres on May 11. The K-drama will be streaming on Viu (select regions) and ABEMA (Japan).
