Jeon Jong Seo may star alongside Kim Do Hoon, Lee Joon Gi in new Netflix film
Actor Park Hae Joon has joined the cast of the film Nambeol.

Nambeol is a hard-boiled martial arts action film set during the early Joseon Dynasty. The story follows nine warriors — each with distinct abilities and hailing from different social classes — as they set out for Tsushima Island to rescue captives abducted by Japanese pirates.
Park Hae Joon will play Miyoshi, the leader of the Japanese pirates based on Tsushima Island. A man who will stop at nothing to achieve his goals, Miyoshi comes into conflict with the warriors leading the campaign to subdue Tsushima.
The cast already includes Lee Byung Hun as Im Eok, the leader of the warriors. Go Youn Jung has been cast as Ae Ryeong, a resilient woman, while Lee Do Hyun takes on the role of Bo Gyeong, a warrior who spearheads the expedition. Completing the main lineup is WOODZ (Cho Seung Youn), who will portray Cheot Nom, an expert archer celebrated for his remarkable precision.

Nambeol is currently in pre-production, with filming scheduled to begin in the second half of 2026.
