Seo Hyun Jin will return to a doctor role in the upcoming K-drama Love Me.

On February 8, Seo Hyun Jin was officially confirmed to lead the upcoming romance K-drama Love Me.

Love Me will tell the story of a woman who possesses wealth, appearance, and honor, but lacks true happiness. The story will be depicted from the Swedish 2019 drama of the same name by Josephine Bornebusch.  

The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of director Jo Young Min (Two Women, The Interest of Love, and Do You Like Brahms?) and writers Park Eun Young and Park Hee Kwon who also created the K-dramas The Third Charm and I Have Not Done My Best Yet. It will be the next project of SLL and How Pictures.

Seo Hyun Jin will be joined by Chang Ryul, Yoo Jae Myung, Yoon Se Ah, TWICE's Kim Da Hyun, and Lee Si Woo

The upcoming K-drama production team praised Seo Hyun Jin, saying, "She doesn't just play a role, she embodies it. She brings the character to life with such sincerity and depth.  Her performance will draw viewers into the character's journey."

Love Me will have a total of 12 episodes. There is no official confirmation yet on the broadcast channel and airing date.

Seo Hyun Jin plays Seo Joon Kyung, a successful and beautiful obstetrician-gynecologist hiding a secret. Years ago, a sudden accident shattered her family, causing her to run away.  To protect her secret, she projects an image of fierce confidence. Her carefully built walls begin to fall when she encounters a man who recognizes the loneliness she desperately tries to conceal.

This will be the return of Seo Hyun Jin to the doctor role. Last year, she led the Netflix original K-drama The Trunk with Gong Yoo, Jung Yun Ha, Cho I Geon, Joo Min Kyung, and Choi Young Joon

Seo Hyun Jin is known for leading the K-dramas Why Her?, You Are My Spring, Black Dog, The Beauty Inside, Temperature of Love, Dr. Romantic, Another Miss Oh, and more.
