'If Wishes Could Kill Season 2': Director Park shares what he wants to explore in new installment

My Lovely Journey follows the journey of Kang Yeo Reum (Gong Seung Yeon), an idol-turned-travel reporter, who takes on proxy travel trips, realizing true success and the meaning of life along the way.
Yoo Joon Sang plays the role of Oh Sang Sik, the CEO of Ogu Entertainment, a man who has weathered many storms in life. Having lived as a boxer and a manager, his strength is also forged by surviving the harsh realities of the entertainment industry.
One still captures Sang Sik in his office, raising a finger as if to rally his staff and boost morale. Although he's the head of an entertainment company on the brink of collapse, the scene offers a glimpse of his dream: that under the name "Ogu," kind-hearted artists will one day come together to create films and dramas that bring happiness to people. Even if it's a dream others mock, Sang Sik's unwavering optimism and zeal are evident in his constant efforts to pursue it without giving up.
The stills also convey Sang Sik's charisma which conveys the unwavering resolve of a fighter who refuses to give up and is determined to take on the ruthless entertainment industry head-on. His complex backstory — being the youngest son of a family of doctors — adds another layer of intrigue.

My Lovely Journey is coming this August. News about the K-drama's global OTT is yet to come.
