Yoon Shi Yoon's grand comeback to the small screen will be his cameo appearance in Taxi Driver Season 3.
On May 14, media outlets reported that Yoon Shi Yoon will be making a special cameo appearance in the new season of Taxi Driver.
SBS responded to the reports and confirmed that the actor is making a return and will be one of the cameos in the upcoming Taxi Driver Season 3. They also stated that viewers can know more details about his participation through the broadcast.
This will mark Yoon Shi Yoon's grand comeback to the small screen after three years. The actor took a hiatus in 2022 and later revealed he had stayed in the Philippines to study English. He also recently signed with a new agency last February to continue his acting career.
Yoon Shi Yoon was last seen in the 2022 series Work Later, Drink Now Season 2. He worked alongside Lee Sun Bin, SECRET's Han Sun Hwa, APINK's Jung Eun Ji, Super Junior's Choi Si Won, Kim Jung Min, and Yoo In Young.
He is best known for being part of the K-dramas It's Beautiful Now, You Raise Me Up, Psychopath Diary, The Nokdu Flower, Your Honor, Hit the Top, Flower Boy Next Door, and more.
Taxi Driver Season 3 will continue the goal of the mysterious taxi company Rainbow Taxi who gets revenge on behalf of the victims. The story is adapted from the webtoon of the same name by Carlos and Keukeu Jae Jin.
Actors Lee Je Hoon, Pyo Ye Jin, Kim Eui Sung, Jang Hyuk Jin, and Bae Yoo Ram will reprise their roles as members of the Rainbow Taxi team.
The upcoming K-drama will be the joint work of writer Oh Sang Ho, the mastermind of the whole Taxi Driver series, and director Kang Bo Seung who has worked in the K-drama Dr. Romantic Season 3.
Taxi Driver Season 3 will reportedly air on November 2025. It will exclusively air SBS.
