We need some korean FL attitude here, or maybe some western FLs attitude, one incident is not the end of life but no she made that her entire life and just won't stop crying. about it ....
Sheesh woman just stop crying and do something about it, korean FLs fight serial killers and rappers(i hope you know what i am implying here) but no this bitch just wont stop crying ... pathetic

I also dislike FL's personality, but her background shaped her personality. Her mother abandoned her, her aunt gaslighting her, her aunt's brother harrassing her, her high school classmates slandering her, her teachers doubted her, her college roommate dislike her (because she's sleepwalking often), her maternal? uncle and cousin ignored her, her younger stepsister hated her, her stepfather didn't want her. Only her late father, her best friends and her boyfriend love her.

So imo she had abandonment issue, trust issue, low esteem, mood swing, anxiety (which caused her sleepwalk), ptsd, depression, and panic attack (which caused her to runaway).

She wanted to stay away from his aunt's younger brother so she left the town to go to Yihe. Later she wanted to protect her boyfriend from that man's harrassment so she left the town again to Hongkong. I heard the novelist created ML based on love language: acts of service, so she's the perfect FL in the novelist's mind to highlight that love language.

Agreed on most of the points, its just that people giving it such high rating should take it as fiction but since this drama is in modern setting, it'll twist the reality of such people's minds , with this criticism I hope to tell those folks that this is not reality and they should not expect such things in real life.

Also if ML has met Bai Lu or any other Chinese FLs in that story he would have left her long back ... xD

Bai Lu irl? She won't give a d*** about that dysfunctional family and perhaps will go abroad to earn money and cut all ties with everyone. For a quick solution, she may choose to date that TNT's rich boy instead of Sang Yan. He's a flawless green flag, a cutie one on top of all that. Bai Lu is definitely a straightforward and smart optimist (and maybe opportunist?).
