Shen Wen Lang and Gao Tu

Finished episode 3 and all i can say is im actually more interested about GT and SWL, I'm assuming they're the 2nd couple. I just want more of their story😭

Should i read the novel if i want to focus on their story? Also does anyone have any recos of bls (can be shows, manhwas, or novels) that have that same dynamic?

I don't know if it's exactly the same, but here are some Boss-Employee Romance BLs you could check out:

If you like Omegaverse, there is also Pit Babe: The Series (2023). It takes place in racing, but the characters are Omegaverse.

I was interested in their story after watching them on Saturday and read the novel in less than 3 days. My recommendation is not to read the novel. In first 77 chapters, everything is mostly about 1st couple... only few things are about Gao Tu and Shen WenLang. Side story is mostly about them, but from my perspective the writer did them dirty. So hopefully they'll charge their story in the show .

you can read honey bear manhwa, the side couple is similar starts in chap 30, the side couple is boss/secretary. sectretary is in love with boss but boss is in love with childhood bff(main couple uke)

Yes, after chapter 77, mostly is about them.

I can't help much. That part of the novel was badly written. SWL always thought his mom (male omega) was weak person and used his alpha dad. But it seems the truth is quite opposite. I don't think they'll go that far in the show. They'll just mention his parents.

I agree, I'm far more interested in Shen Wen Lang + Gao Tu storyline than the 'main' storyline. One is dense(Shen Wen Lang) and the other is tragic(Gao Tu).

Although I confess I'm not really that into the entire ABO genre at all... but this one is OK.

I skimmed the novel so I could read all their parts too. Their story is mainly at the end. I agree the writer did them dirty. They are separated for years. Poor Shen Wenlang doesn't even get to see the birth of his child because Gao Tu and the whole world conspires to keep him away from GaoTu. They do have a happy ending but I'm bitter they missed out of so much time together.
