I don't pretend to know a single thing about the omegaverse or how it functions, nor have I read the novel. I'm just captivated by this story and unable to separate myself from it or take a break😅.
After yesterday's episode, I was feeling a bit heartbroken for GaoTu! Surely, heat or no heat, he must've been longing for WenLang to "love" him or show him some type of passion! GaoTu has absolutely zero experience when it comes to his heat or an alpha's rut in general. All he wanted to do was to escape from WenLang because he loved him but at the same time cling to this Alpha who's satisfying his need! It was a mixture of grief and passion, and the toughest part is that only "he" knew who was in that room with him.
Although that night of passion had helped his heat so much and probably cured his pheromone dysfunction, it definitely had left a gaping wound in his heart! Especially now that he has to go back to work, get reprimanded, as usual, by Mr. Clueless and Jealous WenLang and probably listen to the barrage of insults WenLang has to say about that "filthy omega" who "lured him with 90% compatibility pheromones" and made him lose his "virtue" if i may say! Lol.
On the other hand, Hua is pushing all my buttons! Surely he must've planned all this! He kept using his pheromones on an S-tier Alpha until he sent him into a wave of heat, something completely foreign to his body and instincts. Well, now Hua found himself in a state of a frenzy, not just rut, dragged Shao to a dark room, pinned him down, and violated him! That's like giving an aphrodisiac to yourself and to your crush to try and take advantage of their state of arousal! It would've helped if he showed at least an ounce of remorse after he left that diabolical letter stating that he "sacrificed " himself to "save" Shao's father! Shao woke up to find himself violated, extremely vulnerable, and to top it all he had lost his beloved omega to non other than his rival WenLang, who's going to wh*re him around like an e*cort! ShaoYo is in love with a lie, a delusion that never existed in reality. It was a fake persona that was created by a diabolical creature whose level of obsession had reached a stage of splitting him into two personalities, now he's willing to remove his gland and pretend to be a beta just to stay by his beloved!
Bottom line is, Hua had completely broken his alpha beyond repair, and I don't know how he can ever come back from this?! A type of love that ends in either one of them dead or even both 😢.
I'm dying to see what's coming next.
