This is my first time writing here and normally, I write on a document which can’t be viewed in public and so I’m pretty nervous sharing this out but because there is several other amazing writers here, I’m not as afraid. There will be several points of view but Lu Wuyi is my main focus. I will update as much as I can every single day and if there is any errors, please tell me! :)

Chronicles of Shattered Love

First Rewind
Lu Wuyi felt the familiar scorching warmth of the drought leaking through the gaps in the room and the softness of A’Wu pressing against the curve of her arm. She knew with certainty that she had the ability to save Ji Ling from his fate.
She opened her eyes, blinking back tears that was forming in the corners of her eyelids, recalling the agonizing pain that tore her heart when she cradled Ji Ling’s corpse, rain pelting her shoulders, trying to prevent him from getting wet.
She remembered the appearance of Ji Can, Ji Ling’s demon formed from his loneliness and pain when serving as the temporary Dragon Deity. Her sudden hope when he told her that he could turn back time to save him.
“Will you go back in time to save your loved one?”
Of course she would go back in time to save Ji Ling, her beloved. Her past with him was very unique and she couldn’t bear to let one of the only people in her life that cared for her go. She couldn’t bear to live every day never hearing his voice or seeing his smile when she teased him.
“Just wait A’Ji,” she whispered, “ Wait for me. I’ll save you!” Don’t leave me, please! You promised me hope and anything I wished for and then three days later, you went to another place without me!
She pulled off the covers and was about to scramble up to go check on Ji Ling to see if he was alive when she felt something sweet creep up her throat.
Raising her hand to cover her mouth, she felt a liquid sweep between her teeth and pool onto her palm. She knew it was blood and reached for a nearby handkerchief to wipe it off. Backlash from time travel.
After she was done cleaning, she stood up and opened the doors, racing across the courtyard towards Ji Ling’s room.
When she opened the door, she saw Ji Ling lying on his bed, his eyes glittering with the presence of tears. The special fragrance of Ji Can lingered on him.
He rose to meet her, his gaze searching hers intently, eyes wide with surprise at her tear streaked expression. “A’Wu! What is wrong?”
Lu Wuyi collapsed into his embrace, burrowing her face into his neck, trying to hang onto his warm scent. “Ji Ling, could I sleep with you for the next few days?”
For a couple moments, Ji Ling didn’t answer her, gently patting her back and running his hand over her neck, comforting her.
She heard the sound of a sword hitting the floor from behind her and did a half turn to see Li Jie standing by the entrance, his eyebrows raised. “Absolutely not!”
“Li Jie,” Ji Ling asked. “How long have you been standing there for?”

That’s all I can come up with so far. I’ll work on it some more tomorrow! Thank you for taking the time to read this!

Li Jie blinked and coughed several times, his face growing slightly red. “When I saw Lu Wuyi go in, I immediately came in.”
Never before in the entire span of her existence did Lu Wuyi wish for Li Jie to perish. She was tolerant before but now that it’s gone to a point where she was just reuniting with Ji Ling after his death and the time reversal.
Ji Ling caught her expression and frowned. “Li Jie, I am fine. You are dismissed. Let me talk with Lu Wuyi alone”
Li Jie nodded and quickly waddled out, shutting the door behind him with a flick of his sword, grumbling something incoherently.
Lu Wuyi glared at him for a bit before focusing her attention back on Ji Ling. “I want you to stay by my side and not leave me behind.”
Ji Ling’s eyes glazed over with confusion. “A’Wu, what are you talking about? Are you alright? Of course I’m not going to leave you. Why are you so eager to sleep with me for multiple days?”
“Just promise me that you aren’t going to try anything stupid in the next three days,” Lu Wuyi demanded, ignoring his questions. “You said you would do anything for me so honor my request. Don’t approach Wu Wangyan and don’t go to the altar”
“Why would I need to approach Wu Wangyan?” Ji Ling scratched the back of his neck. “The only person I see in my eyes and heart is you.”
You are going to kill Wu Wangyan, obtain the fragment of the Dragon Deity’s power, and then kill yourself, ending the drought! Lu Wuyi answered his first question mentally, her mind plagued with uncertainty. She couldn’t tell Ji Ling about the dream, he would think she was insane and would push her away to accomplish the goal he sought after: to bring peace to the city and kill Jiu Ying. His next words made her heart thump loud against her chest. Oh Ji Ling, I don’t want to lose you!
She was lost in her thoughts when Ji Ling’s hands gently pulled her into a hug. His face, as bright as the stars and pristinely clear as jade, approached her viewpoint. His eyes were the brilliant cosmos and she felt like she could see in the very depths, a warm shade. She knew that Ji Ling looked cold in nature but deep inside, he was as bright spirited and innocent as the sun. He had revealed his true self, reserved only for her.
“Alright A’Wu, I promise”

Author’s Note:
Once again, I will continue writing this bit by bit every single day. It’s somewhat hard to do because I feel like many of the people here would not be here in a couple days. Who would be looking for my updates daily when the drama was already over? I hope people here could appreciate my writing!
Ps:
I’ll definitely finish the first Time Loop chapter by tomorrow. I’m hoping that all the work I’ve done here will have each an individual story for each time loop Lu Wuyi had done (it’s going to be a massive project)
Continued (First Time Loop)
Lu Wuyi was cautious: she didn’t know if Ji Ling would truly honor his promise and she didn’t want to let him out of their shared embrace.
Ji Ling leaned even further and gently clasped her chin, tilting her head back. His lips brushed against hers and he gently lowered her onto the bed, supporting the back of her head.
After a couple moments, he pulled back. “Will this satisfy you?” He asked softly, raising a finger and running it parallel to her jawline. “I don’t know why you are still so uncertain about this.”
Lu Wuyi’s lips still held the fragrance of Ji Ling’s kiss and she pouted. “It’s about time we consummate our marriage,” she said, suddenly thinking about their time in the illusion realm the Star Stone had created. “One kiss is not enough”
It was Ji Ling’s turn to look embarrassed. “A’Wu! Are you trying to take advantage of my words?” He complained. “What are you talking about? We never had a marriage together”
“Don’t you remember when you were Man Man and I was Di Zhu?” Lu Wuyi asked, feeling a mix of irritation and sadness. “We were getting married and then all those things happened. Either you consummate the marriage with me or sleep with me”
Ji Ling abruptly sat up. “Wait a minute,” he interrupted. “Aren’t those the same thing?” In the flickering candlelight, his face had turned an adorable shade of red.
“Who cares?” Lu Wuyi grasped his neck and pushed him closer. She muttered in Ji Ling’s ear. “I heard that my older sister and Wu Shiguang had many intimate moments. I’m quite jealous.”
…
Wu Wangyan was wandering the courtyards when she saw Li Jie sitting anxiously on the steps to Ji Ling’s chambers, his expression a mix of frustration, embarrassment, and pain.
Inwardly, she laughed at his expression, thinking how hard it was for him to show his emotions so openly. She approached him. “What’s going on?”
Li Jie glared at her. “Control your sister please!”
Wu Wangyan was curious: what could her sister have possibly done? She glanced at Ji Ling’s chambers, her mind suddenly clicking. “Is she in there?”
She suddenly heard a voice, Lu Wuyi’s. “I heard my older sister and Wu Shiguang had many intimate moments” she was taken aback by those words; how could her sister know about her forty years of unboxing with Wu Shiguang? She never told her. She raised an eyebrow. “How does she know that?”
Li Jie snorted. “How am I supposed to know that? She’s been acting weird ever since she came into Ji Ling’s chambers.”
…
In Ji Ling’s chambers, Lu Wuyi gazed up at Ji Ling as he gently started to untie her outer clothes, his long fingers resting on her collarbone and the curve of her neck.
His chest was bare and sculpted like marble, lean and defined. His skin was a flawless shade of pure white, evident of his years of solitude in the cave as the acting Dragon Deity.
He wrapped his arms around Lu Wuyi and turned, pulling her on his chest, angling his head and gently laying siege to her lips.
Lu Wuyi closed her eyes, enjoying his scent wreathing around her, feeling happiness pushing back on the fear and desperation that was etched in her bones since traveling back in time.
“A’Ji,” she whispered, her voice cracking against his mouth. “I love you. You are my stars; my hope feels bright because of you”
Ji Ling responded. “You are my only moon. It’s light belongs to me”

Author’s note:
This is my second time writing love scenes like this! I legit am feeling kind of burnt out. I’m sorry but it might take a while to finish the first time loop. I hope you enjoy it!
Continued (First Time Loop)
Ji Ling reached for Lu Wuyi’s leg and pushed back the robe that was covering it, pressing the palm of his hand against her thigh, fingers slowly inching upwards.
The touch electrified Lu Wuyi’s nerves and she felt a overwhelming sense of happiness, making her almost dizzy with the feeling of flying through the sky.
Lu Wuyi felt his tongue sweep over her teeth and the roof of her mouth, coming to rest on top of hers. She gently flicked it away with a twist of her tongue and twisted her head to get a new angle.
His hands gripped her head and neck, his thumb and index finger curled around her jawline, pushing her chin backwards.
She pressed on his lean shoulders with her forearms, her hands touching the curve of his back and the small crevices between his muscles, gripping his shoulder blades.
She felt truly happy, forgetting about the initial pain and suffering that brought her here. She was becoming one with her beloved!
Ji Ling twisted over, pushing her against the bed’s soft mattress, kicking the blanket away. Their legs were separated by Ji Ling’s leggings accept for around their ankles.
After a while, Ji Ling released his grip on her mouth and pressed his head against her neck, his lips gently touching her collarbone.
With his feet , Ji Ling grasped the blanket and threw it over them, curling his toes to pin one side firmly down. Following his lead, Lu Wuyi pinned the other side beneath her head.
With a wave of his fingers, he turned all the candles in the room off.
…
Li Jie’s expression was twisted into disgust as he irritatingly tapped the blade of his sword against the ground, his ear turned towards the door. “Guess both of them lost their innocence by now”
Wu Wangyan nudged him. “Why do you look so frustrated by that? You should at least be glad that they are having fun”
Inwardly, she was questioning her entire life, wondering how her sister could know about her experience with Wu Shiguang and how she had the most worst time to wander around in the courtyards.
Li Jie rolled his eyes. “I’ve had enough of this, I’m going to go interrupt their moment. If they continue this, I won’t be getting any sleep”
Wu Wangyan stared at him. “You do know that they might not be fully clothed right?”
“I doubt they want children so they must have protection in some particular places,” Li Jie tore a piece of cloth from his clothing and started wrapping it around his head, covering his eyes.
He found the handle to the door and pulled it open, stumbling to the ground and tripping over the entrance. With the blindfold on, he couldn’t see anything. He froze, halfway on the ground, when he heard Ji Ling’s voice.
“Li Jie, what the hell”
Li Jie replied. “Uh, I left my water bottle in here and I came to get it back”
That part was true, the water bottle he left was on the table next to the bed and he had left it there on purpose so he could make up an excuse to come back.
A few seconds later, amid rustling sounds and the occasional noise of buttons getting tightened, his water bottle was slammed into the palm of his hand.
“Uh, is Lu Wuyi still here?” Li Jie asked stupidly. “It’s getting very late and the morning will be packed with a lot of activities! It’s best to catch on sleep”
Something light hit his shoulder. “Get lost before I hang you on the entrance door of Shilin Sect!”

Author’s Note:
Lu Wuyi and Ji Ling getting interrupted twice in the night by poor Li Jie. I swear I’ll finish the first chapter and move on to the second chapter! Give me time!
Ayah:
"The touch electrified Lu Wuyi’s nerves and she felt a overwhelming sense of happiness, making her almost dizzy with the feeling of flying through the sky"
What did I read😳
I should put a explicit content warning on this one 😓
Sorry! I also never had any experience with any of this so it’s fine! This is all just from reading some books! I know it may be a little bit too much…
Continued (First Time Loop)
After spending the night with Ji Ling, Lu Wuyi returned to her room, her thoughts focused on other matters. Before the first rewind, she had found out from Mu Long’s story that her memories with Wu Wangyan were not her own. She needed to confirm with Jiu Ying, who was currently posing as the Fox King, about her origin.
She decided to travel back to the Formless Moon Sect secretly during the first sign of dawn. This was her journey alone; she didn’t want others to come with her or protect her otherwise she wouldn't get the answers she wanted.
…
In the meeting room, Wu Wangyan and Wu Shiguang sat side by side, facing Ji Ling who stood at the center. Behind him, Li Jie leaned on his sword, anxiously glancing backwards to the door.
“I came to talk to you about the location of Jiu Ying’s last spirit fragment.” Ji Ling took a deep breath, his gaze heavy. “I didn’t want to tell you because Lu Wuyi was with us and this topic should not be discussed around her”
Wu Wangyan exchanged glances with Wu Shiguang. “Is the last spirit fragment in Lu Wuyi?” Inwardly, she tried to push back her emotions: the two people she loved and cared for- Wu Shiguang and Lu Wuyi- both possessed a fragment of the demon she loathed.
“That is not just the case.” Ji Ling added. “In truth, Jiu Ying created Lu Wuyi and infused memories from others in order to give the illusion that Lu Wuyi had been at the Formless Moon Sect with you”
“So if we want to kill Jiu Ying, we have to kill Lu Wuyi?” Wu Wangyan spoke up, her voice strained. “Is there any loophole around this? Is there any chance she could survive?”
Ji Ling shook his head. “Unfortunately, none that I can think of.” He looked around him, noting the expressions. “I don’t want Lu Wuyi to know about this,” he said quietly. “This is too much for her.”
“Then how should we face her?” Wu Wangyan asked, her heart aching. “She will know that something is wrong. I kept many secrets from her and it feels wrong to do it again”
