Hmmm.  Did I miss that?  I saw the Giant Rabbit and the snake.

0.46 (second) It might be snake but it seemed to me a dragon sorry 😅

I was half awake when I watched the episodes, so I definitely could have missed something. ;p

Since the introduction of Tong Shuong into the story I have been worried about his fate. At first I thought he might die towards the end but if the preview of the future episodes posted by IQIYI Taiwan is anything to go by, then he might turn out to be one of Yesha's people. At first I thought he might be Beiming's brother but today's episode made that seem impossible. The Haiya records also do not have his name in the list which would mean he really is the son of the Tong family. But if he is not related to the Haiya massacre not is he Beiming's brother, then what could possibly be his motive for joining Yesha's cause? Whether he dies or turns out to be a traitor, Beiming is going to be really heartbroken and I am going to be so sad because I really love his character.

I wouldn't trust the trailers.  They are meant to tease, but that doesn't mean what we see on them is actually what is going.  Remember, the first trailer has XB being stabbed repeatedly in bed, but that was all a recreation.

I'm betting this is the image from the trailer that folks were talking about with the two kids.

From episode 30 preview on iQIYI, the kids are Bei Ming and Bei Kun. I wonder why Zhong Yun Chi didn't raise both of them? And why did he give Bei Kun to another family? Or, could the baby die? 🧐

I think the second baby is still alive and is either Yesha (which would be sad) or it is Zhuge Kongyun. I would assume Zhong Yunchi  would want to raise the brothers together, which would happen if he gave the other one to the Zhuge family. So there is a lot of misdirect in the latest episode but if I were writing the drama, I would make Bei Ming and Bei Kun brothers that were raised together. That would also explain why they are both so smart.

If the baby was Zhuge Kong Yun, it would be interesting why Zhuge Tong gave his last name to the baby, but Zhong Yun Chi didn't. Why did Zhuge Tong and Yun Chi not tell the brothers about their relationship when they were adults? And I remember Zhuge Tong acted normal about his son's obsession toward Bei Ming. Hm. I should rewatch episode 1-2 to see this probability.

I really want to peek at their shoulder to see the incense burn mark (episode 30 preview). LOL. I know the preview might mislead us. They do strict to their genre: mystery drama. Sooo good!

I didn't watch the preview.  But so far, there have only been single adoptees, perhaps to have less questions?  I don't think the baby died... that would be kind of pointless.

Those seem to be the most likely candidates.  I do have a hard time believing the Peacock is actually biologically related to Chief Zhuge.  I do agree that there's been more misdirects as we go along.

 Ximena:
why Zhuge Tong gave his last name to the baby, but Zhong Yun Chi didn't.

Maybe bc Zhuge Tong was not planning to have kids of his own whereas Zhong Yunchi was. It could also be bc Beiming was already a kid and already knew his name was Beiming whereas Kongyun was only a baby.

I assumed the baby died like another adopted children, passed away in their mission as Yesha's subordinate. Poor them. Do you remember if Bei Kun is in the list?

Ah~ I see .... Now I wonder if Kong Yun is younger than Bei Ming. 🧐 I would looovveee it if they were brothers.

I don't think Bei Kun has appeared yet, so they haven't mentioned him being in the book.  There's not even a Bei Kun in the cast list. :)   I don't think there are many surviving orphans, at least from what they said, which is interesting.

No Beikun was not on the list. Or he could have been renamed Tong Peng. From your picture, one is a baby. Its easy to rename a baby.

Yes you have a good point. Maybe he is in the book but the team didn't focus on it bc they don't even know he exists.
