Another question ... Why is Wu Zhui, I think that's his name, the guy who pointed them toward the book of orphans and their adopters, running?  Is he afraid of getting killed?  Where's his orphan?  And isn't he known as the guy in white at Haiya?  And wasn't Huang Wu Chang  recruited by the man in white?

 Kokuto:
I don't think there are many surviving orphans, at least from what they said, which is interesting.

Yes, I guess because they didn't take them all to the capital. Some of them stayed in Haiya and we met them in episode 28.

 PeachBlossomGoddess:
Maybe he is in the book but the team didn't focus on it bc they don't even know he exists.

It makes sense.

I'm curious about this, too. I had no idea why is he running. Hm, are you assuming Wu Zhui might be Yesha?

I thought he is not well and has been asked by the emperor to rest and recover in the countryside. He was heavily involved in Qi's defenses over the years. I assume many enemy kingdoms want to kill him, which is why he is probably hiding/incognito. And I am sure Yesha is also after him since he has killed everyone involved in the Cangfeng army.

My understanding is that those we met in Episode 28 aren't the survivors of the massacre per se, as they don't know what happened, but are from a town or village near the massacre.  The book only lists the orphans that were brought out of Haiya with their adopters.  But IIRC, they said that many from the book had died.  Maybe they mean the ex-military adopters -- cause those guys are definitely dying.  O_O

I see .... I didn't pay attention  to that. I know I might miss some details in the drama. I wish we get express tomorrow. This curiosity is killing me slowly. LOL.

I don't know.  He really went through a lot of trouble to hide his answers to XB.  But it is probably another misdirect.  Though it was odd how they had that recruitment scene, and then immediately mentioned Wu Zhui was known for wearing white.  And again, where's his orphan?

I also saw this trailer, which appears to have the army getting their orders.  And we can see a little more than just the five leaders walking down the stairs.  I'm guessing the one in the middle is the Prince.  So, the four around him could be Mei, Chief Zhong, Tong, and Huo.  But below them there is definitely someone in white, as well as another person.

Right, that's why he is in the country, but as soon as XB left, apparently, he left his country home at light speed.  But I guess he believes Yesha will come for him now, too.

Agree.

Yes. The man in the middle might be Wu Lie, Prince of Pingnan. However, the man in white could be Bei Hai (from episode 30 preview).

 Kokuto:

I'm betting this is the image from the trailer that folks were talking about with the two kids.

While they were talking about the kids , General Zhong said that Tong Xin’’s wife had a child which means that Tong Xin’s first child is not an orphan. Tong Peng was the second master of Tong residence.  Tong Shuang is the third master and that means he is a little younger than his brother. If Tong Xin doesn’t have any kids apart from these two , Tong Shuang also may be the  orphan from Haiya .  Plus,  it is not definite that Tong bros change their names or not.  Not sure about Tong Shuang’s relationship with Bei Ming but he is definitely not from Tong fam.

Tong Xin had 3 kids. Tong Shuang and his oldest brother should be Tong Xin's biological children. Tong Peng should be a Haiya orphan.

I don’t agree with you and I didn’t remember Tong Shuang mentioned that he has two bros. First Master is Tong Xin , Second Master is Tong Peng and Third Master is Tong Shuang. Their servant called Tong Shuang  like that when he visited his home.  Plus , he uses 兄弟 (xiongdi) word but that means younger brother not an elder one.

Tong Xin is the father. The oldest brother's name is unknown. But I think it is possible that Tong Shuang is actually Tong Peng. That would mean he is Yesha and the old servant is lying about his name.

Tong Xin is their father. The elder son is actually Tong Shuang but his brother (Tong Peng) uses his big brother’s name not to be target of Qi officials.  He hides his Haiya identity and his origins because of things that happened there. Maybe he has connections with Yesha and Tong Peng chose Bei Ming ( another Haiya victim) just like Huo Dai Rong’s servant did.
