Thnks. I usually make things like this in discussion coz I feel those obsessively looking for spoilers will find it as the comment section is a bit of a temptation and it might ruin the viewing exp for some even under spoiler. I think I'll post it in the comments after the drama ends.

Wow, that ending feels very similar to Faith's (the doctor) storyline, where the last finale scene, they spent hours staring  without hugging or kissing. It's such an anti-romantic ending, and honestly, it's unsatisfactory too, especially since there’s no explanation for how he ended up in modern times. Thanks for that; now I'm prepared and won’t jump out of my chair!

Well, I hope this drama ending was beyond your expectations XD it certainly surpassed mine!

It was much better, but once again they did not spend enough time explaining how he arrived in modern days; now he found her. It was like, "Hey girl, I am here." But still no touching when they see each other, only multiple camera shots when she put her arms around his waist. Why was he living again? And then the teary-eyed scene from FL (good job), but no emotion from ML (bad job).

As expected, it was so-so. But it was better than the faith because they had a big kiss.

The final cooking competition went on for too long. Should have been shortened by one episode, to segue back into the final two episodes more smoothly instead of full-in cramming so many wrap-ups in one episode. And given this ending, a bonus episode would have been helpful to show what happened so the king could travel to the modern day. This drama needed two more episodes or one more bonus episode, since a second season would likely not be as successful.

There is a mini-drama you can consider checking out (now airing on IQiyi) known as "The Tower Of Whispers". It's a mini-drama, 24 episodes long. 10 episodes are out.   

I have a question. What did ML's mother do? Was she guilty or was she unjustly killed? This was never explained
