Bang Tae Shil – Bang Tae-seop’s older sister.
Chu Sang-ah - South Korea's top actress. Despite constant scandals surrounding her, her biggest fear is losing herself. She experienced a glamorous period, captivating audiences with her charm and aura, until announcing her marriage to Tae-seop, a prosecutor, in a sudden move that garnered significant attention. Although their marriage sparked rumors, a stronger, more persistent desire drove them. Her career stabilized until derailed by rumors of tax fraud. She has an unspecified relationship with the Chairman of WR Group.
Hwang Jeong-won - A significant force in altering the cartel's power structure. Her life changed following her mother's death; she was accused of murdering her father and met Tae-seop, the prosecutor handling the case. Upon release from prison, sh eventually reconnected with Tae-seop, who recognized her intelligence and resourcefulness and recruited her as an intelligence agent.
Nam Moo-sik – Hwang’s assistant
Kwon Jong-uk- The eldest son of WR Group and the executive director of WR Construction. He seems elite with impressive lineage, but as he speaks, his true nature's revealed. His father married Yang-mi six years ago because of the hotel business. To push her out of the WR heir position, he teamed up with Bang Tae-seop, who has the same aim.
Lee Yang-mi - The second wife (married 2019) of WR Group and president of WR Hotels & Entertainment. She navigates both the power structure and South Korea's entertainment industry, with connections in each sphere. She claims to be the illegitimate daughter of a former South Korean President. According to the Mayor of Seoam, Yang-mi is nothing more than a pimp “like her mother”. Has one daughter (age 5).
Kwon Hee-jin - Yang-mi and Kwon Se-myung’s 5 year old daughter.
The Entertainment World
Oh Gwang-jae - He is a heavyweight filmmaker who dominated Chungmuro (Korea’s Hollywood), He was responsible for making Sang-ah a major star. He used actresses to pay for sexual favors from political figures and would do whatever it takes to succeed. Murdered in 2018. [Murder scene speculation: someone initially stabbed OGJ and left him to die. Park Jae Sang arrived and touched the knife, but did not go further. Lim Kwang Sung, a hired assassin dealt the final, fatal stabbing.]
Han Ji-soo – An actress who wanted to be a big star like Sang-ah, but due to Oh Gwang-jae, she never made it beyond adult/erotic (age 19+) films. Died of apparent suicide in 2016.
Park Jae Sang – Hired by Oh Gwang-jae to be Sang-ah’s bodyguard. Upon her urging (and a promise to be “his woman”), he planned to kill Oh Gwang-jae and was found at the murder scene. He initially claimed he was innocent but later took the blame w/out admitting that Sang-ah commissioned the crime.
CEO Eom - CEO of Choo Sang-ah's agency.
Bae Yoon-sung- Actor from the same agency as Choo Sang-ah.
WR Group and adjacent
Kwon Se Myung – Chairman of WR Group, South Korea’s 3rd largest conglomerate. He has two twin sons - Kwon Jong Uk and Kwon Jong Il. He has one daughter with his 2nd wife is Lee Yang-Mi.
Hee-jin – the Chairman’s 5 year old daughter.
Jo Chang Min – The Chairman’s Staff Director and apparent agent that hired the assassin Lim Kwang Sung
Choi Ji Ho - Creator who runs a Cyber Wrecker channel. The murder case involving Choo Sang-ah 7 years ago is re-examined, forming an extreme confrontation with Bang Tae-seop and Choo Sang-ah. Lee Yang-mi is paying him to publicize Sang-ah’s role in the murder.
