I'm only reading from the Chrome translation, so if anyone can read Japanese and want to give us another translation, that would be great.

Kimura, who plays high school teacher Manami Ogawa, said, "All the characters are very unique and strong, but they all share something in common: they all reveal their miserable, painful selves that they want to hide, and then suddenly realize they're just walking barefoot. This is the kind of person we are. We'll probably think about the answer to the question of what love is until we die, and I don't think we'll ever find it. But when we're faced with this, one thing we can do is to think, 'Even if you don't understand love, this might be the way to approach it.' I hope that this drama will serve as a guidepost for those who are lost in their own world."

Kawahara's actor, Nakajima Ayumu, said:

The characters in this drama are all people whose sense of ethics will be shaken, and I feel that the idea of "this is right" ethics is broken or invisible in today's society, so I hope that the characters in this drama will make you feel angry or sympathize with them... I look forward to hearing what viewers think.

Sawamura Kazuki said:

I play Matsuura Kojiro, the president of "THE JOKER," the host club where Kaworu works, and he too is hiding a secret. However, I'm worried that the script I've received so far means that the secret won't be revealed at the end, so in that sense, I'm feeling a bit uneasy. Yumiko Inoue's script is unsettling because you never know what's going to happen until the very end (laughs). Raul's own innocence and sincerity are reflected in Kaworu, and I discovered him when I was young and grew up loving him, so it's very easy to act with him in the same relationship. However, on set, we make sure to draw a line between the owner and the staff there.

All of these quotes resonate with me-- they explain why I find the drama so appealing. And I never know what will happen next in the drama (so yes, I'm a little nervous with the ending, but more so because I want more happy scenes than I know can fit into a measly 45 minutes).

Thank you for sharing, I wonder what  the president's secret is, did I miss it or does it involve kaoru and we dont know... I hope we get to know.

Fans are speculating that the president might be Taiga's dad, so I guess that might be the secret Sawamura mentioned.

Yep, and it will be a final episode reveal (or not), as we see Taiga asking him whether he was his father in the previews. Taiga asked his mom in episode 10, but she still wouldn't tell him.
