I think they probably just wanting people to check their favorite ones. Or maybe they really do look alike in their eyes. But it's actually quite strange. I think the more we see them, and the more we know them, the more unique they appear. How come their favorite actor looks like another actor? But different people have different thoughts, so I may be wrong.

I don’t think there’s any ‘conspiracy’ of that kind. Most people start watching Korean dramas first, and only later move on to Chinese ones, so Korean actors are the ones we find out about first. Given that, of course we’ll compare others to them. I myself find similarities between certain actors fascinating, but I’m not sure if I’ve ever written comments like that. I probably have, tbh.
It’s both. I just thought it was odd that like 99% of profiles have that comparison.
