I saw a short series cdrama (not sure if it was vertical or not) more than a year ago. FL time travels or falls into a novel where the setting is in republican era of china (not ancient period). There were comedic aspects and fluff romance.
FL was clever and comedic/quirky.
ML was a general/officer of sort, but not overbearing/broody type. He was pretty sweet to her from what I recall.
I think she's in his fiance's body (maybe a villainess), not sure.
