Time travel shows have always interested me especially when time goes back 200 years or more. I just love the historical costumes and the way of life shown, and would love to go back in time myself, of course this only applies if you were wealthy in my travelling back, it could never work for me if I was poor!
I really am loving Palace: Lock Heart Jade and loved the song sung by Jang Mi in episode 8 where she and the 8th Prince, His Majesty and the hanger on who wants to be her boyfriend are sitting around a fire cooking chicken pieces or some type of bird anyway!
What a disappointment 4th Prince turned out to be! For someone who didn’t seem to care overmuch about the throne and showed kindness to Jang Mi and walked barefoot on the stones to help her wounded heart, to a would be murderer is beyond the pale. Being married to that horrible, vile woman is not an excuse - didn’t the men in those days rule their women? This is one woman who needs to be held in check on a tight reign, she really is a most despicable person - I do help she gets what she so richly deserves.
Eight Prince can be a bit dense - loveable but dense when it comes to women! Such a pity it was the fashion in those days that men shaved the front of their heads, how much better looking would they have been with a full head of hair. They look half bald!
Enough of my ranting, I must get back to episode 9 and see if 4th Prince and his evil wife progress to greater misdeeds. I hope they both get caught though, and I hope that wife gets punished and made a slave!
