C-Drama Recommendations

Okay, hi guys. I've just finished a few dramas and now I'm stuck. I don't know what else to watch. If anyone can list some for me, that would be great. If you would like to know a bit about my taste, I love dramas like:

Novoland: The Castle in the Sky(1&2)

Joy of Life

The Song of Glory

The Princess Weiyoung

Chef Hua

Ashes of Love

I know, it looks like I love fantasy dramas but I swear I like more. I don't really prefer longer dramas. Thanks to anyone in  advance who recommends anything :)

We seem to have similar taste in C-Dramas :) Here's what I would recommend:

The Romance of Tiger and Rose - Fantasy drama that features a script-writer that goes into her script, such a funny and adorable drama with a ML who falls first.

Chef Fang  - Similar to Chef Hua

Princess Silver - Not fantasy but Wuxia

Legend of Fu Yao - I personally think that the relationship between the leads in this drama is similar to the relationship in Novoland :)

Buried City to Shut All Lights - Honestly such a hidden gem! But if you are gonna watch this drama, make sure to watch the movie after so the ending of the drama makes sense.

Eternal Love of Dream   - Longer drama but honestly so so worth watching if you liked Ashes of Love (The stories are not connected though, this drama about an ADORABLE side couple from Eternal Love)  :) Shorter drama but has more seasons (Season 3 is coming out next year)

The Love by Hypnotic - Shorter drama :)

The Chang'an Youth 

My Fantastic Mrs Right: Season 1 - This drama may not be to your tastes but I wanted to mention the drama as it is a shorter drama and I found it quite entertaining.

Novoland: The Castle in the Sky 2 - Second season of Novoland, the story is about their daughter, I thought this drama was quite well made :)

The Romance of Hua Rong - Shorter drama, not a fantasy drama but is a wuxia.

Thanks, I don't understand why people hate on Novoland;The Castle in the Sky. Both seasons were great and my favourite actor now is the ML in Season 1. I'll check out some.

Hm, although I am a fan of the first season of Novoland: The Castle in the Sky, I can understand why many people didn't enjoy the drama, the costumes, CGI and some of the scripting wasn't great but despite this I think that people can see past it and enjoy the love story along with some parts of the plot :) I'm personally a huge fan of dramas like Novoland, the plot was definitely unique and lovable, while watching I was hooked! Like you also like Zhang Ruo Yun a lot, he is a very talented actor who can fit into all types of roles! And not to mention he is great eye candy! xD

I've tried to watch the Untamed but idk, I stopped after episode 1

Honestly, I did the same thing with The Untamed... it really wasn’t my type of drama and I couldn’t even watch the whole of ep 1... :(

Also, do you recommend Joy of Life?I haven’t watched it yet, I want to watch it for Zhang Ruo Yun but I’m not sure :(

It's my all time favourite, you should check it out. I must warn you that Season 2 was pushed back to next year so the 3rd season will be pushed further. The plot was really amazing for me. It included a decent amount of romance, comedy and sadness
