I would love to see some myths & legends  from the other side of the world, Asian  is what I am saying.  to be sure there are legends unexplained.

I'd like to start one  about those mountains, sorry don't recall the name, those ones in Korea. heres a for instance, here in America, we have gazillions mysteries in our mountains, 1. the mysterious lights, 2. supoersticious mountains,  and so much more. so I am weird, I just like mysteries. note I am a fan of like Atlantis, and that other one off Japans coasts.

be like an Indiana Jones maybe?  I don't know if you are still around, but I'd love to give this a old fashioned shot!

an arechologist team, , they found evidence of alien beings living in the caves of (K) mountains, thousand of years ago, the people that did live near the mountains, "word of mouth" said they seen strange beings, unusual lights,  in the distance,

now  the archeologists, go to these mountains and start researching what they have heard and seen. I don't know much about those mountains, I have to research them to tell my story.  a legend  maybe but maybe not the who what when where and why...

the robed dramas are what you need to watch to see those    or the ghost dramas.   many of the folk lore dramas seem to have been put in storage or marked as not for out of country viewing.

hhm  didn't reaiize that.  ok will check that out as well. thanks.

 ryo-san:

I write some mystery stories to get rid of stress..

Good for you!

Do you mind if I ask where you're based and in what language you write?

To be honest, I'd never even heard of Wattpad until I saw this thread!

I looked through it but I don't think it'd interest me... so I'm wondering if the reason you're unable to finish work is because you're unable to see the eyes on your words?

Social media, to me, is more time than it's worth - I'd much rather live my life in humble 3D than in digital fantasy!  But does cultivating a fan-base distract you too much from your writing goals?

oh id be really REALLY interested in writing a story with someone else, especially the asian drama way! (im still a drama beginner, so fresh wind would be cool)

through my experience, writing in a story group without any prior story planning so everything is gonna turn out as a surprise and make writing even more exciting, would someone be down for a lil writing group i wonder...

ryo-san, I write in English,

ttow,  writing may not be your strong suit, start slow, and small, go outside, with pen and paper,  sit in a quiet spot, and write what you see & hear, there is so much to write about, that's how some of the writers started.

even your emotions can be a part of it. just have fun with it, imagination is a great thing!

y'all have fun!

Dal  yes it is fun to write with someone, but don't let that be the only reason to write.   ok everyone here's a question for you.

Why Do YOU want to write?? yes answers, please

1. Love to write for exploration, adventure, yes escapism, go where no other "man" has gone, StarTrek ,  I enjoy putting thoughts on paper, yes to share,

so share your thoughts here, lets see what we can come up with

Lack of interesting dramas so I had the Ai cook up a story for someone to expand on.

The Secret Garden of Love

(A Whimsical, Offbeat K-Drama Concept)

Logline:

In the heart of Seoul, a mismatched group of oddballs is drawn together by cryptic invitations to a mysterious “garden” that doesn’t exist on any map. As they follow a trail of secret clues, awkward encounters, and blooming friendships, they discover that the real garden is the quirky, unexpected love growing between them-and within themselves.

Synopsis:

Seo Joon-hee, a socially awkward botanist with a penchant for talking to plants, receives a hand-painted postcard that simply reads:
“Meet me where the petals fall, beneath the ivy’s embrace.”

Thinking it’s a prank from his mischievous older sister, he ignores it-until he bumps into Yoon Ha-na, a failed poet who claims she got the same card. Ha-na is convinced it’s a sign from her late grandmother, who used to tell her stories about a magical garden where “time pauses and hearts whisper.”

Soon, more oddballs join their quest:

  • Min-kyu, a conspiracy theorist barista who believes the garden is a portal to another dimension

  • Soo-jin, a silent florist who only communicates through elaborate bouquets

  • Dae-hyun, a jaded office worker who’s allergic to flowers but desperate for a change

Together, they follow a series of whimsical clues-petals on the wind, cryptic poems, and hidden keys-leading them to forgotten corners of the city: a rooftop covered in wild ivy, a tiny café with a secret menu, a midnight library where “the last flower of spring” is pressed in an ancient book.

As they bumble through misadventures (and occasional disaster), their friendships blossom in kooky, unexpected ways:

  • Joon-hee and Ha-na bond over their mutual inability to flirt

  • Min-kyu tries to “decode” Soo-jin’s bouquets, convinced she’s sending secret messages

  • Dae-hyun’s allergy attacks become the group’s running joke (and a surprising icebreaker for romance)

But the biggest twist? The “Secret Garden of Love” isn’t a place at all-it’s the unlikely community they’ve built, where each person’s quirks are not just tolerated, but celebrated. The garden is their shared secret: a metaphor for the love, laughter, and acceptance that grows when you let your true self bloom.

Key Themes & Kooky Elements:

  • Hidden clues: Petals, coded notes, and oddball scavenger hunts

  • Symbolic locations: Rooftop ivy, secret café, midnight library

  • Unconventional romance: Awkward, funny, and heartfelt connections

  • Found family: A group of misfits who find belonging together

  • Metaphorical “garden”: Love grows in unexpected, invisible places

  • Running gags: Plant puns, allergy mishaps, Min-kyu’s wild theories

Tagline:
Sometimes, the most beautiful gardens are the ones nobody else can see.

                                                             SEASON 2/EXTENTION OF BURIED HEARTS

SEO Dongju is on the yacht, holding the gun and reminiscing about all the traumas he had faced. All the problems, all the grief are in the gun. he is completely dead inside. he is thinking was all the hardship was even worth it, if all the pain was necessary does even after the revenge, he is happy, or was it all worthless. With the gun in his hand, all the thoughts going on, he decides to end his life with the same weapon that is responsible for all the problems. He points the gun to his head just about to hit he gets a call from Eunnam he ignores it another call from her 4 times in a row BOOM  the gun fires but not at him but at the sea he fires all the bullets except for one then picks the call from the other side a shaking voice of Eunnam says Tayeon is dead. Hearing this line, the deadness in the eyes of Dongju disappears, and a sudden gust of feelings starts to ignite in him. he who just saw the msg from tayeon and the photo from seonu couldn't digest it, felt like the world which had fallen again built and broken at the very same time.

And lots of things happen.

The deongju whom we saw was dead inside, now has a will to live, but the will is hurt.

He returns, sees Tayeon's body, and collapses the When he wakes up, he rushes to his mother and asks for the reason. She says it's all because of her, Tyn (tayeon) told her he couldn't bear the business, and she forced it was all because of her; she is blaming it all on her.

Again, a lot of things happen.

But then Assistant Gong tells him the truth about what she saw, cuz there are no CCTVs there (if you remember the scene where Eunam and Tyn were talking about her pushing Tyn, the conversation was based on assumptions, so I deducted that there was no CCTV to give the exact explanation, but it was secretly planted later by Assistant Gong and the Chairman) but he denies to believe it in front nut in ack of his mind from the photo he deducted the truth but was not ready to believe. Assistant Gong then shows him the video, which was only accessible to the chairman and Assistant Gong. The video shows Suyeon pushing Tyn, and she shows him with the chairman in the secret room. Upon seeing it, he says to both of them not to tell anyone about it, and the guys, he will live.

TELL ME IF YOU LIKED IT. I WANT TO EXTEND IT, AND I AM FULL OF IDEAS NOW

                                                             SEASON 2/EXTENTION OF BURIED HEARTS

He wouldn't kill himself because he had his love and his younger brother needed him to help him succeed in the company.

And his brother?  I don't think anyone will believe he killed himself because he was happy to know that he had an older brother and his sister loved him.

DEONGJU WENT TO SEA EITHER TO KILL HIMSELF OR TO START A NEW LIFE

AND in my opinion, the look in his eyes while holding the gun was shouting I am dead inside.

So I went in that way, I'm not saying this is the ending, but rather my interpretation of it, and everyone will have their own.

And for Tyn, I was not thinking much and was stuck with his mother's slap and her depressed scene in the hospital.

Pulling Strings: A Mischievous Matchmaking K-Drama

Honestly, k-romantic dramas are silly most of the time.  But, your story seems to be interesting.
