You're really got  confused. The girl I referenced is the Nine-Tail Celestial Fox.

By the way, he'll finally married Lin An. She is his future  official wife. Mu Nian Zhi is just his concubine in the novel. And surprise! In the novel he got a harem. 🤣

Khushi20_10, I believe they can change the story of Nine-Tailed Fox and Shen Shu for the drama script. Xu Qi An once said that Fox is his friend, right? Ok. 

It is possible that the scriptwriter will change Shen Shu's story and the Nine-Tailed Fox in the drama will be his beloved. Xu Qi An even may roll in love to the Fox during their trip, but  finally it all will be flirtation and comedy. Because the relationship line: Xu Qi An vs Nine-Tailed Fox was like a funny teasing competition from the early beginning.

Unlike you, I was very surprised by Fox's pregnancy at the final of the novel. It looked as if the Fox had lost hope of finding her relatives. And took advantage of the strongest option available. Very sad. 

I would really like a change. 

Teasing the inhabitants of Xu Qi An's chicken coop would be possible even if Fox will be pregnant by Shen Shu. Even much more funny.

I also think that the drama will not touch upon the subject of Xu Qi An's illegitimate child. I think the writer will limit himself to the story of the hidden rivalry between the sisters and the eldest princess's secret love, which will eventually be known to Xu Qi An.

Like you said some of the females in the story are soo cool but it feels like they end up settling for the ML because no one else gets to shine!

I would be really happy if they go acc. to your analysis because Shenshu also deserves love. I really loved him in the novel, also in the drama.

I think I found the other one reason why the fox can be Shen Shu's girlfriend in the drama. I think the author of the novel is a selfish person who didn't want Xu Qi An to experience true loneliness. After he became the god of war, his body changed greatly. He can live for a very long time until his ability to store energy runs out. But all the female characters except for the fox are short-lived creatures. Even Mu Nian Zi is a mortal reincarnation of an immortal being. Only the fox, being a direct descendant of the supreme primordial demons, the QinQiu foxes, is originally a long-lived creature. So are her descendants. I think the author prudently provided Xu Qi An with a family that will stay with him for a long time. But for the drama, there is no need for that: Dafeng is a game world. The game will end, Yang Lin will return.

Novel was definitely more male fantasy land as the harem situation served no one else other than Xu Qi An😒😒🤷‍♀️

Marrying a girl to give her protection is in line with Xu Qi An's character in the drama. But it sounds as self-sacrifice. 

Like you, I also think that Mu Nian Zi will be a very cherished person for Xu Qi An in the future. Her storyline has just begun. And needs to develop. 

And we saw all the three girls in one scene. It was like the director try to hints us about three different love lines. 

I just hope that Mu Nian Zi in the drama will not sacrifice herself for Xu Qi An. Because her story is already full of tragedy.  

I am also very curious, will Xu Qi An's change of fate in Dafeng be related to Yang Lin's change of fate in the real world? And if so, how? What exactly will change in Yang Lin's fate?
