This way he will a normal mortal, no more power(of a martial artist) but he will live.

Thanks, that was for sure unexpected twist! Why he split himself? Did he murder his son in process? Does Lord Wei or Supervisor know about it? So the one who took Empress hostege against Lord Wei was real Emperor or his father?

he killed the duke a long time ago but didn't kill the emperor but after some years I think the emperor got jealous of lord wei and his empress around that time his body got taken over completely
