Me too, sadly, I'm very critical of myself and my decisions.

I'm the type to not open up so easily to new people I meet and it takes time to be myself around them

Me too, correct spelling too......Whenever my oldest (25yo) and I are texting.....he starts out using shorthand...i.e., lol, bc, idk,...etc..etc..no punctuations, etc... While I, observe correct spelling and punctuation, like I'm writing an essay. Anyway, after a couple of back and forths....Soon, he's texting me back with correct spelling and proper punctuation, because he "realizes, "Ohhh, its Dad.... he doesn't do emojis and shorthand texting." I know of CTRL C and CTRL V, because of him...lol!!!
