10 dramas that gave you deja vu, felt like a remake (though they weren't)

1. One spring night - felt like a reconsidered version of Something in the rain. They even shared the main cast

2. King the Land - time by time it felt like Business Proposal in the hotel setting, MLs were lookalikes (and I know people who really thought they were played by the same actor 😅)

3. The Replacement Bride and Her Overbearing CEO Husband - it is exactly the same thing as My Fake Wife (2020) but with different actors, so I'm not sure if it is adapted from the same novel or not. It's possible The Replacement Bride is just not credited with that info on MDL.

(I’m not sure how similar they have to be, so I hope the one I list is ok, if not, please tell me)

4. Go go Squid and Falling into Your Smile. The second one felt like a remake with younger versions to me. Yes, there are differences but somehow I felt like the basic settings were very similar, which gave me a deja vu (I mean grumpy ML, boss/leader ML, playful FL, gaming scene, team players, …and so on)

5. Remember 15 and Dead Friend Forever - the setting, the gore, the friends reunion, the one friend missing , DFF felt very familiar when I started it and then I realized it reminded me of Remember 15. They're not entirely similar though, but they share very similar themes

6.Revenant felt like a similar vibe to The Guest for some reason

 Saygo:

6.Revenant felt like a similar vibe to The Guest for some reason

Completely agree. And on an unrelated note, The Guest has got to be one of my absolute favorite dramas, and I'm not usually a fan of horror

7. Just Spoil You reminds me of The Love You Give Me with the latter being a better production.

8. Dramatic Self-Help Strategy feels really similar to The Deliberations of Love oh, they also being aired during the same time (October 2023 and September-October 2023)

9. Meet Yourself (I dropped this) get into plagiarism controversy because of some similarities to Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha but the awards they received was not cancelled.

10. My School President- gave me strong vibes of Bad Buddy. I know it's not really the sane but the whole set and dynamics between characters were amazingly similar (tho I preferred Bad Buddy) but in an honorable way. like they gave it the respect it deserves.

Bonus: Behind Your Touch and Mis Night And Day - the concept of a bizarre power seeing memories by ttouchingthing's butts or becoming an old woman in daylight  while there's a serial killer roaming around gave me sort of a deja-vu~

10 urban fantasy titles (not Chinese) which are on the comedy\romance  scale (slight horror is fine)

So fantasy dramas that have both romance and comedy? If yes,

1. Vice Versa

2. Great Men Academy
