10 movies/dramas that kept you rolling on the floor laughing. They can have their serious moments but, according to your memory, it was mostly funny. Please AVOID titles from China and South Korea, unless we are 12 hours since the last post. Remember to mention which MDL country they are from!

1. Oretachi wa Abunakunai ~ Cool ni Saboru Keijitachi - (Japan) This one was nuts. Two cops who work hard to avoid work and end up 'working' anyway. Some less than good moral conclusions, but overall a very hilarious drama.

2. Bank Over!: Shijo Saijaku no Goto (a Japanese drama specials)

about bank robbery attempt by multiple robbers from different sides in which the background story of how everyone inside and outside the bank relate to this robbery being explained one by one

3. The Con-Heartist (a Thai movie)

about a voice phising fraud goes wrong as the targeted woman blackmail the fraudster into scamming her ex-boyfriend to get her lost money back as she was a victim of dating scam

4. Dirty Laundry - They were so unserious about everything and I loved it.

5. Mafia: Guns and Freaks - it was so crazy and goofy I laughed so hard. Just the son of a mafia boss trying to get used to his new roll while dealing with lots of bizarre characters.

6. Peaceful Property (Thai series) 

About a group of amateur exorcists trying to excorcise several properties that have ghosts in them. That description is not the best because it's a very basic outline of what the series actually is, which is twelve episodes of this incredibly heartfelt comedy

Great posts so far. Are there any from Taiwan, Hong Kong or the Philippines? BTW, love titles from SK, Japan & China & Thailand but they are so much easier to come by and I'd love to see more from the others. Bonus points if it is from a non-MDL listed, SE Asian country (can list them as a BONUS, esp if you can say where you found/watched it!), while numbering the MDL ones. If there hasn't been a post for a few hours, please keep going with any MDL title you fell over laughing at!

I read that Shaolin Women's Soccer has finished filming. I hope it will also be as hillarious.

9. Secret in the hot spring (my absolute favorite Taiwanese movie, it’s hilarious, I watched it at least 100 times already and I’m still laughing when I watch and loving the whole movie dearly)


by the way, it’s from the same Screenwriter & Director as #8 ;)
