There are several Japanese Dramas that come to my mind:

10. Manpuku Asadora about the inventor of instant ramen. If I remember correctly in the beginning the FL gets a hold of American canned SPAM and shares it. Throughout the series there's some more touch points with foreign food (hunger and relief after war, experiments with food based on foreign books etc.)

11. Kazamidori another asadora. I would really like to watch it but haven't found it anywhere yet. A Japanese-German couple running their German bakery (ofc there's gonna be German food)

Movie is okay?

1. Successor (movie) - The father might be over the top pretending to be dirt poor, but the mindset was right; the heir should be a kind, diligent, smart, compassionate, and healthy person, not the prodigal son who's lazy and spoiled like the older brother.

2. Dhevaprom: Dujupsorn - Jutathep family in Dhevaprom series era were all kind and compassionate. So did Kedsara (the older gen Dhevaprom) and her husband. Even Madam Orn (the great-grandmother of Jutathep family) had changed for the better (but she's trying matchmaking Jutathep-Dhevaprom again in Poncheewan).

3. Destined - ML's family was the richest merchant, even richer than the nation. The parents spoiled the only son but the son is not a bad person, just like martial arts more than studying but in the end trying his hard to study.

4. My Love from the Star - the 2ml wasn't stuck up or annoying about his money at all, if anything he attempted to be down to earth (if I remember correctly) and I liked him when he wasn't chasing the fl. But if he doesn't count, than the ml surely does, since he was filthy wealthy and didn't flaunt it at all (of course bcuz he was an alien lol)

5. W - he did spend a mindless amount of money but was never conceded about it or made you feel annoyed even when he went broke, he was the same in attitude and personality that among other things remains to make him one of my fav mls

6. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon - been a long while since I watched, but never once remember thinking he was a pompous about his money or annoying, and found him rather likable :)

7. Flex X Cop - Jin I Su's half brother Jin Sueng Ju was so nice. He was a good elder brother to the ML, kept him grounded, took resonsibility for him, showed up when he was down.

8. Destined with You - ML's parents were initially kind of estranged, even though they were always nice to him. It was hilarious how they make up in the end and are expecting a new baby *wink wink* at the same time lead couple is planning to get married and how embarrassed ML is because of it lol

8. Fish Upon The Sky - this one had two confession/kiss scenes that I really liked, and it's weird because they were not vague dialogues that felt like a confession like the ones I usually see, they were proper confessions followed by a kiss
