1. Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (I think it counts?)

It counts! (Tho I watched it)

So it should be a specific person? And are you saying they should get the powers to specifically protect that person, or is it okay if they already had the power and decided to use the power to protect said person?

It can vary. I'm talking about situations when someone's motivation of rising to power is protection, so they can help other people when it's need. It also can be someone who had a chance but didn't want to be in position of power and changed their mind because it's only way to protect someone/prevent something bad. Revenge or money or power itself shouldn't be a motivation.

Examples:

Moon Lovers - Prince Wang So and his coup because of Had Soo

Doctors - SML didn't want to be in director board but change his mind to prevent FL's firing

Under the Queen's Umbrella - MLbecome next crown prince to protect his mother and brother's family

Power, guys, not superpower

 Ahn Sarang:
Power, guys, not superpower

nvm- deleted

power as in that coming from a status

3. Arthdal Chronicles- ML & FL  wanted to protect their tribe and free them. They both took different paths but had the same goal. ML essentially grew stronger to fight injustice

4. The Penthouse

5. Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency - idk if this counts but its the second lead

also my father is strange but its none of the main leads, its the love interest of one of the leads

6. My School President - Idk if it counts, but  the main motive for ML to become the scl president is to help the other ML

its been more than 24 hours so new topic

10 dramas you watched that you've rated 7 and above and you cant remember anything or hardly anything about the drama/dont remember watching it, youre like "wait i watched that" kind of vibe

1. Hellbound (8.5) - I don't remember the story except for the fact that there were monsters. The rating may be attributed to Yoo Ah In's characters though

2.Oh My Venus - I gave it a 7.5

3.Woman of Dignity- I gave it a 7

I think i watched them early in my drama newbie phase when i did a lot of binge watching during the lockdown times lol

4. Love @ Seventeen - honestly I think it's kind of amusing. I gave it a 9.5. I remember loving it, but other than that, the only thing I remember is the misunderstanding mentioned in the synopsis and basically nothing else.

5) Murphy’s Law of Love - i rated it a 8, but i remember nothing about it. It was one of my first dramas.
